KATAMARI DAMACY JAPAN CRATE
Japan Crate’s follow up collaboration with Bandai Namco Entertainment was for Katamari Damacy’s 15th anniversary and the release of Katamari Damacy Re-Roll for the Nintendo Switch! Using my past experience from partnership collaborations, I was able to hone on my skill and effectively lead the production of this campaign.
I took advantage of the vibrant style and characters Katamari Damacy had to offer and designed them into patterns that could serve as the project's visual foundation. The initial challenge was ensuring the visuals were translated effectively given the duotone limitations we had for box printing. I overcame this by experimenting with image export settings that optimized visual clarity and vibrancy.
ONLINE PRESSENCE | MARKETING
Due to my continued experience with partnership crates, I created a template to aid in designing campaign pages that made the process more efficient under tight deadlines and quick turnarounds. I also started creating animations and videos for online ads to appeal to a broader audience, reduce CPA's, and improve overall effectiveness.
I integrated the dynamic and colorful visuals into our ads and social media posts to authentically capture and convey the Katamari Damacy experience the fans and customers were looking for.
